MYOBI attaches great importance to your privacy and considers careful handling of your personal data as its responsibility. Below is an explanation of what data we collect, for what purposes, how we obtain the data, what your rights are and how you can exercise them.

2. About us

MYOBI is a Trusted Third Party (TTP) that manages a trusted network, enables companies to manage their information ecosystem, and facilitates trusted services and other services. Those services give companies and persons control over their company and personal data and allows them to share their data with others in an agreed manner.

Companies and individuals who want to use the MYOBI Trusted Network and Trusted Services accept the TTP policy; the mores or the rules of the network. MYOBI plays the role of digital “notary” and digital “broker” and manages the semantics of data definitions.

MYOBI is a stand-alone company. The shares are held by a trust office foundation. MYOBI is registered in the trade register of the Chambers of Commerce under number 65258878. The VAT number is NL856040575B01.

3. Definitions

Below are some definitions of commonly used terms in this statement:

  • Visitor: visitor to our website, who is not necessarily also a client.
  • Client: visitor of the website who requests information from us, attends a meeting or concludes an agreement with us and thereby communicates his details to us.
  • Personal data: all information concerning a person that can be traced back to that specific person.
  • Processing of personal data: an operation or a set of operations with regard to personal data or a set of personal data, whether or not carried out via automated processes. Below is indicated for which purpose (s) MYOBI collects your data. Where relevant, a distinction is made between purpose (s) of data processing for visitors and clients. It is also stated on which legal basis the data processing takes place.

5.1 Communication goals

With the processing of personal data for communication purpose (s), MYOBI aims to be able to handle requests for information, questions or comments based on the data you provide to us. MYOBI processes this data on the basis of a legitimate interest. If you contact us, you can use our contact form, which processes the following data:

  • Name
  • Company Name
  • Place
  • Phone
  • E-mail
  • Message

After your request has been processed, the personal data will be deleted, unless this data is necessary to implement an agreement that you enter into with us or if you invoke your legal right to no longer wish to be contacted by MYOBI. MYOBI can also process these for marketing activities aimed at establishing or maintaining a direct relationship with you as a visitor or client.

In addition MYOBI aims to establish communication via the internet. We only register an IP address for this purpose. Our browser does not install cookies. An IP address is an Internet Protocol address that points to a unique destination on the Internet. This may mean that in some cases it can be traced directly to the visitor’s computer. This information is essential to send the pages via the internet to the correct computer.

A cookie is a collection of data, a registration file, that a website transfers to the hard drive of a computer to store it there. Cookies are used, among other things, to store data about the preferences of the website visitor.

A cookie does not identify the visitor, but it does identify his computer. No cookie is installed during your visit to our website. The collected communication data will be deleted immediately after the internet session has ended.

5.2 Administrative goals

If you wish to use one of our services or if you register for a course, training or meeting, your data will only be processed, subject to legal obligations, for processing your request and/or to implement the agreement that you deal with us. These data can also be used to calculate and record financial data for the purpose of invoicing products and/or services purchased by you, to handle disputes and to perform audits. MYOBI processes your data in this way on the basis of a legitimate interest, implementation of the agreement or on the basis of a legal obligation that rests on it. The following data is processed for administrative purposes:

  • Registration form brochures: contact and communication data including e-mail address.
  • Registration form for factsheet, whitepapers etc .: Contact details including e-mail address.

These data will only be processed by MYOBI for the above-mentioned purposes. The personal data provided will be stored by MYOBI to comply with your request, during the term of the agreement and/or as long as MYOBI is legally obliged to do so. MYOBI does not store your data longer than necessary.

6. Origin of data

The data that MYOBI processes is obtained from visitors and clients, which they provide themselves via the website. In addition, the IP addresses are recognized by our server. This technical processing is only important to enable communication. The data will therefore be deleted immediately after the session has ended.

7. Provision of data

MYOBI will not provide your data to any other party, except if and insofar as required by law. The data will only be used for the purposes described in this privacy statement.

8. Rights of visitors and our clients

The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you as a visitor or client of MYOBI a number of rights that you can invoke. In principle, everyone must have the opportunity to check whether data about him or her is being processed. He must be able to inform himself of data processing without excessive costs. At the request of the visitor and/or client, MYOBI will provide a complete overview of the processed data about the applicant, the purpose of the processing as well as the origin of the data). MYOBI will inform the visitor or client in writing within four weeks of the request which data is being processed, for which purposes these data are processed and where these data come from, to whom they are provided and for what purposes this is done.

The visitor or client also has the right, by means of a request addressed to the contact person, to correct, supplement, delete or block the personal data concerning him (right to rectification and erasure, right to restriction). Persons acting under the authority of MYOBI, as well as the MYOBI themselves and those who have access to personal data, are required to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data of which they become aware, except to the extent required by law or regulation .

To prevent unauthorized access to personal data, our organization has taken various security measures, including measures against unauthorized access, unauthorized use, unauthorized modification, unlawful and accidental destruction and accidental loss.
