The management of the invited business partner asks: “The business processes have to run, and is there added value for me?” After agreeing to the TTP-policy, the authorized representative (usually the company management) is given the Business Manager role of the information ecosystem by MYOBI on the Trust Network and within its company-specific learning environment. The Business Administrator delegates tasks to roles: the Business Process Coordinator, Contract Author, or Signatory Author.
The management of the invited business partner often asks: ‘Why should we use the Trust Network, and what is the added value for our business activities?’ The following underlying questions play a role here:
Question: The contact person is waiting for approval from the company to join the Trust Network. In the short term, management wants to know the involved costs of participation in the Trust Network and whether agreements can be reached quickly with the initiating business partner.
Answer: Using the Trust Network is free of charge for the first three contracts concluded, but not without obligation. See: ‘Why participate in a Trust Network?’. After the partners have exchanged the company and personal data, the intended agreements can be made.
Question: In the somewhat longer term, the company management might reconsider the situation. ‘Why does my business partner think it is important that we are a user of a Trust Network, and does the added value also apply to my organisation? Is there an accessible and attractive business case?’
Answer: All companies can organise their business activities (e.g., sales, personnel management and purchasing) more effectively with the help of reliable company and personal data. The size of the business case depends on the scale at which the Trust Network is deployed.
