At the request of VIE, which holds the TTP Code of Conduct AVG, MYOBI facilitates the compliance approach with an appropriate accountability mechanism. In this way, companies are in line with the accountability cycle of the existing accountability (annual accounts, explanatory notes and other data) to society.
Based on the assessment frameworks ‘Protection of Personal Data’ and ‘Information Security’, the management decides the maturity level of compliance with the code of conduct. The assessment frameworks are based on relevant legislation, the Royal Dutch Association of Accountants (NBA) frameworks, and the Dutch Order of Register EDP-Auditors (NOREA).
MYOBI experts supplement the assessment frameworks with specific code of conduct requirements and have prepared roadmaps on how to use the assessment frameworks to reach a maturity level. In addition, for the benefit of companies, MYOBI organises compliance with the TTP Code of Conduct AVG and, if desired, with other company-specific legal and contractual obligations. This allows a company to manage an integrated compliance approach to set up an effective and cost-efficient organisation.
