Creating a business process

13 views 0 14 September 2021 myobi

Let’s get started! You are a user of the MYOBI Trust Network and you want to start a contract. Depending on the license, there is access to contracts in the various contract portfolios of MYOBI.

The first step if you want to start a contract is always creating a business process. The user with the Business Process Coordinator role has the authority to do so on behalf of the initiating company. A business process coordinator has been assigned this role by the Company Administrator. The initiating company is the owner of the business process.

Creating a business process is as follows:

Click on ‘Business Processes’ at the top of the screen in the taskbar and then click on My Processes.

…

A screen follows where all initiated business processes are displayed. Here you can create a new business process by clicking on the plus icon at the bottom right of the screen.

…

This is the screen where you can create a new business process and where you have to fill in a number of fields.

…

You must give a name to the business activity. For example, if you want to offer an employment contract to a new employee named ‘John Doe’, you can name the business process ‘HR offer employment contract John Doe’.

At the type of contract, click on ‘needed’, after which you will see the different contract portfolios. For example, if you need an employment contract, choose the HR contract portfolio. And if you want to conclude a processing agreement, you choose the contract portfolio ‘Data’.

…

You can fill in the description field according to your own idea. In the example, ‘Offering the employment contract and other HR documents to a new employee’ has been chosen.

When you have entered everything, click on save, a new business process has been created.

…

You can always find your business processes at the top of the screen under “business processes”.

…

Good to know: every business process uses its own encryption key. Using this key, the business process encrypts content such as contracts, messages, comments, and the like.
