Managing the functional structure of an organisation leads to a hierarchical model of an entity consisting of organisational units; an organisational unit consists of departments; and a department consists of roles.
The roles we use today are:
| Roles | Permissions |
| Business Coordinator | May start, change and delete a Business Process if contracts are not yet fully completed. |
| Contract Author | May draw up or change a contract within a Business Process. |
| Contract Authority | May approve a contract within a Business Process. |
| Contract Reviewer | May read or comment on a contract within a Business Process. |
| Contract Signatory | May sign a contract within a Business Process. |
As more applications become available on the Trust Network, the number of roles will increase.
